Recent Happenings

I can't even tell you how proud I am of Marcus. We're officially pee potty trained! He's been dry for a full 12 hours! How amazing is that? I didn't think this day would come for at least another year and yet here we are. Not only that, but he knows all of his colors now too. I've been trying to teach him those for awhile. Apparently he was learning because he knows most of them. He's so cute when he says them. He knows blue, purple, red, green, white, yellow, orange, pink and sometimes brown. We're working on a few others and he's doing really good.

Jamesen is totally amazing. He's so smart. I can't even begin to tell you the great things he does but he's so coordinated and such a problem solver. We put him on Marcus' trike and he was trying to figure it out. His legs are still too short so it didn't really work, but it was like he knew what he had to do, he just was incapable of doing it.

Anyways, my kids are so amazing and such great kids. I'm so blessed to have them, even though they're extremely busy.

A Visit from Freddie

I'm on an online message board for moms. There's groups of kids who are due around the same time. When all the babies are born, it's called a playroom. In Jamesen's PR, the babies are called the July Fireflies. We've got a firefly toy that gets sent around the PR. He got sent to us this week!









Sadly that's all the interaction that poor Freddie has had since he's been here. Jamesen just isn't interested in him at all! We should save the poor guy some loneliness and pass him on quick!

The Fortune Cookie Knew!!

A little bit ago we went to Panda. We got enough fortune cookies for all of us. We laughed at how the boy's fortunes really did match them. My fortune said that I would have a pleasant surprise in my future. I shrugged it off. I've had a really bad month and I didn't see how anything could be pleasant in my future.

I'm really glad I was wrong!

Marcus has been peeing in the potty a lot! Totally a pleasant surprise! I honestly never thought the would willingly pee in the potty until closer to 4 but here we are at just before 3 peeing in the potty about 4 times a day. The best part is that we've only been actively potty training him for 4 days!

When mama gets sick...

The whole world falls apart! My niece caught a flu that's been going around and passed it to Marcus, who passed it to Jamesen, who passed it to me. Marcus was over it pretty quick. He only puked once but has had some pretty nasty diapers. We're battling a rash from it right now. Jamesen got it worst. He puked quite a few times though he didn't get the diaper end as bad as Marcus did. I got it late last night and puked a few times and have been lethargic and achy all day today. I honestly don't know what I would do without my dad. He pretty much watched the kids all day today while I slept. I'm still feeling gross, but it seems that it really only lasts about a day and a half so hopefully I get out of it soon. I've been so achy that I can barely hold either boy :(

My little family could really use some prayers right now. I don't wish to elaborate, but I need strength in my decision making. Any extra prayers you have would be greatly appreciated.

We made it to Vegas!

I promised grandma Lynne that I would post a bunch of pics and vids on my blog for her since she won't be seeing the kids in awhile. It always kills me to see their grandparents crying when I leave. Well I've not taken pics in quite a few days but I got a new toy, a Flip video camera. I've not taken vids in awhile so I'm kinda making up for it. Here's a few that make me giggle

Recent Adventures!

Like I said in the last post, we're trying to make up for not seeing daddy for pretty much a year and being cooped up so we're going to a lot of different things here. You'll have to go to facebook to see the pics as there are a ton of them!

We've had fun though :)
