Recent happenings

I had an awesome birthday! It was the best one I've ever had! We just relaxed and did some shopping in the morning/afternoon and then that evening, Sabe and I went out to Carabba's for dinner. Sabe surprised me with a diamond penguin necklace and earrings.


We came home and the best part... the kids were angels for Lynne!! Yes, Jamesen was an angel! I'm not surprised that Marcus did well because he usually does, but I'm dumbfounded that Jamie did so well! Amazed! Very happy! We're going on another date on Saturday :D

So yesterday... We went to get Sabe a truck. We've been saving for the down payment for it for a while and we decided it was time. We found out that our credit scores are awesome [mines 730 and his is 740] and it got us a great deal on the truck. So we signed the papers and were finalizing everything when the owner of the place asked us what vehicle we owed the 22K on and and said that since we were already buying a truck, he would trade our CR-V for an Xterra and make it so our monthly payments are the exact same. We traded in our 2006 CR-V for a 2010 Xterra and are only paying $8 extra a month! I'm so stoked to have my own car!
